The Anaerobe Society
of the Americas (ASA) hosts its 11th biennial Congress--ANAEROBE 2012--June 27-July 1, in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA. The Pre-Congress Workshops will be held at Santa Clara University (45 miles south of San Francisco) and the Anaerobe Congress takes place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel (off Union square) in downtown San Francisco, CA USA.
ANAEROBE 2012 will address both the clinical and microbiological aspects of anaerobes, as related to human diseases, animal disease, and environmental
conditions. Mixing theory and practical applications, the Congress will consist of invited speakers, oral
presentations, and poster presentations, representing work by researchers
from around the world.
Program
The ANAEROBE 2012 program consists of a Pre-Congress Workshop (see below) and general sessions consisting of 17 sessions of oral presentations by speakers from 11 countries. Further research will be presented as
posters, during three Poster Sessions, as well as the Student Competition.
Registration
On-Line Registration for ANAEROBE 2012 includes a Delegate Packet & Abstract Book; admission to Congress sessions, poster sessions, and exhibits (June 29-July 1); continental breakfast & breaks each day; and Friday Wine & Cheese Reception (June 29). Discounts are provided to current ASA Members and Students.
Full Congress Package includes Saturday evening banquet (select entree option on registration form), to be held at The Rotunda Restaurant in Nieman Marcus. Additional banquet tickets may be purchased separately.
Registration for the Pre-Congress Workshop at Santa Clara University (June 27-28) also may be completed on the Registration Form. Workshop registration includes admission to the 2-day workshop, Continental Breakfast each day, breaks, Wednesday night dinner, and bus transportation from Santa Clara University to the Grand Hyatt San Francisco, immediately following the conclusion on the workshop on June 28. Be aware that the workshop is being held in Santa Clara, CA, and Santa Clara/San Jose hotel accommodations must be secured separately (see Hotel below).
The Pre-Congress Workshop takes place June 27-28 at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA. Hotel reservation instructions will be forwarded to Workshop registrants with registration confirmation. Hotel rates are $149 + tax, including transportation from hotel to university. Important: Workshop registrants should not make reservations at the Grand Hyatt for these nights!
