ANAEROBE OLYMPIAD 2002

The 6th Biennial Congress of the Anaerobe Society of the Americas

Jointly sponsored with Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine
& Microbiology Educational Services

June 29-July 2, 2002 -- Park City, UT USA

The Anaerobe Society of the Americas (ASA) hosts its 6th biennial Congress--ANAEROBE OLYMPIAD 2002--June 29-July 2, 2002 in beautiful Park City, Utah, USA, home of the alpine events of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Since it will be six years since ASA has held a Congress in the United States, we anticipate that ANAEROBE OLYMPIAD 2002 will prompt vigorous enthusiasm in both clinical and microbiological aspects of anaerobic infections, their diagnosis, and their therapy among medical practitioners and researchers by mixing theory and practical applications. The Congress will consist of invited speakers, oral presentations, and poster presentations.

Target Audience

Researchers, clinicians, and technicians from around the world are invited to attend and participate in this Congress to engage in presentations, exchanges, and dialogue on issues related to the study of anaerobes. We particularly hope to attract bench hospital microbiologists, offering a Pre-Congress workshop on Anaerobic Bacteriology for the Clinical Laboratory.
