Founded in 1992, The Anaerobe Society of the Americas is an
international organization, promoting the study and application of knowledge of anaerobic
bacteriology. The primary activity of the society is organizing the biennial Anaerobe
Congress for researchers, clinicians, and laboratory scientists from around the world
to engage in presentations, exchanges, and dialogues related to anaerobes.
Membership, offered in Doctorate, Non-Doctorate, Retired, and Student
categories, includes a discounted

ANAEROBE 2024 CONGRESS
July 8-11, 2024 -- Ann Arbor, MI USA
The Anaerobe Society of the Americas (ASA) hosted its 17th Biennial Congress --Anaerobe 2024 -- July 8-11, 2024 on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI USA. Researchers and practitioners from
over 20 countries attended to engage in presentations,
exchanges, and dialogue on issues related to the study of anaerobes. The Congress
consisted of workshops, invited speakers, oral presentations, poster presentations, and social activities.
